Since TravConsult first began crossing cultures, exceeding expectations and inspiring teams in January 2002, we have had the wonderful pleasure of working with some amazing teams and people – from passionate boutique business operators to global corporations.

Pioneers with Asian Markets
In 2004 TravConsult developed and launched the first Chinese Customer Service Workshops, pioneering education & development of Australia’s tourism industry to better understand & look after the emerging Chinese tourist market. We have since taken that globally & received international award & recognition.
Travel to India to learn & research began in 2007, as we sought to understand the Indian consumer who was making their mark as outbound travellers.
Trevor’s experience & love of Indonesia was sealed back in the 1980’s. Hence, Indonesia was a natural market to explore as Clients demanded more insights to its potential.
We continue to listen to our Clients. Most recently, as the economy of the Rising Star of South-East Asia Vietnam, grows, so do their outbound travellers and our industry-leading Clients have requested we help them learn more about “The Land of the Blue Dragons”!
Along our journey, we have been recognised as pioneers with Asian markets, in particular China.
In 2008, TravConsult won the prestigious GOLD AWARD for Service Quality and Human Resource Development at the Chinese Tourists Welcoming Awards in Beijing, ahead of Switzerland Tourism (silver) & Avis China (bronze).
TravConsult was also awarded the inaugural China Outbound Tourism Quality Label at the World Travel Market in London, in recognition of our knowledge of and expertise in the unique needs and expectations of Chinese tourists.
TravConsult’s founders and senior executives, Trevor Lee & Lilly Choi-Lee, sit on the highly regarded COTRI China Outbound Tourism Expert Panel (COTEP), an international group of leading experts on China‘s tourism development from within the global tourism industry and regional, national and international organisations and institutions, including also academic, commercial and media researchers.
